Buffer preferences can be found in your Buffer Settings.
ย
Skej supports buffer time between meetings. You can choose from two types of buffer options:
We recommend the "Blocks of Time" setting as this gives more flexibility to Skej and ensures your day is efficiently scheduled. You can try out both to see which works better for you! Hereโs how it works:
With buffers between blocks of time, Skej will ensure you always get a break before and after any meeting blocks over a certain length of time.
For instance, if you don't want to be in meetings for more than 2 hours without a break, you can set the maximum block of time for 2 hours.
You can adjust the block of time, as well as the buffer length to be between 5 minutes and 2 hours.
Every Meeting Buffer
If you want a break in between every meeting, you can choose every meeting buffer. You can have a buffer as short as 5 minutes between meetings or as long as 2 hours. This setting is useful if you never want to have back to back meetings without a break.
Want to try it out? Visit the Buffers page of the Skej dashboard.
You can set a cap on how much total time you want to spend in meetings each day.
For example, if you set a 4-hour daily limit, once you have 4 hours of scheduled meetings in a given day, Skej won't schedule any additional meetings. If you're approaching the limit, Skej wonโt book a meeting that would push you over.
If you need to, you can always override these settings by simply asking Skej. If you clearly state specific availability in your message to Skej, Skej will prioritize your instructions over the default settings.
For example. If you already hit your daily limit, but you want to add a meeting at 11am that day, you can say something like:
"Skej, I am available Tue, Nov 26 at 11am."
Skej will offer that time instead of applying its normal buffers and limits.
You can also always force book a specific date and time, which overrides all of Skej's normal settings.
"Skej, book this for Tue, Nov 26 at 11am."
